Where can you find Garcinia Cambogia?
Garcinia Cambogia is the former scientific name of a special fruit that has been discovered in the rainforests of Southeast Asia. The fruit is also known as gambooge, brindleberry or assam fruit. Due to the availability and low mortality rate of the plants, this fruit is greatly harvested in Kerala, India; and also in some parts of Sri Lanka. The fruit grows the most in moist areas.
Garcinia Cambogia has a thin skin and deep, juicy lobes within it. It can be of green, yellow or at times, red in color. Some Indian recipes have the use of Garcinia Cambogia in them, and it has also been used vastly in preparing various Ayurvedic medicines, particularly remedial ointments, because of its wholesome and stupendous properties and also for an abundance of antioxidant within it. The rinds of the fruit are used for the purpose stated, and after peeling and drying, they have a slight brown or blackish color to them.
